Our Programmes

Get access to children's books, educational cartoons and stationery, with a personal library card which you can use to borrow books and take them home.

Here, kids are taught to be responsible for the books they lend by taking a Library Pledge.

Reading at home, school or anywhere improves vocabulary and helps with language development.

Learner Profile

This app helps you improve your knowledge by testing you on foundational numeracy and literacy (how well you know numbers and words).

Along with the app you get learning resources and a detailed progress report and it can be used on smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Costs: R280 per licence.
Time: Monday – Thursday 12:00 pm – 16:00

Book Buddy

This is a paired reading session where your book buddy helps you improve your reading skills.

As you get better at reading and gain confidence, you'll need your book buddy less and less.

And you might even become a book buddy yourself!

Time: Monday-Thursday 12:00 pm – 16:00

JOIN US

KyKa Mascot

This is where we come to you with our trusted bike and exciting books!

Wherever you might be, on local playgrounds, in ECD centres or sports fields.

When: 13:00 – 16:00 every Friday & Saturday.

If you're interested in movies or theatre, come to our library!

When: Fridays 12:00 pm - 17:00
